These little 3 ingredients Oatmeal Thermomix magic ‘balls’ are ready to bake in under 1 minute.

They are the perfect healthy snack, breakfast on the go or lunch box dessert.

When I’m going out on a big walk or run or when the kids do a lot of sports, I pack some of these in my pockets ready for when a little boost of energy is needed. So much better than sugar-loaded shop-bought snack bars, these Thermomix magic balls are great for before and after a workout too.

With only 3 natural ingredients and a whole range of other benefits, I am not sure how these little magic balls could be any better.

  • – Nut-free
  • – Gluten-free
  • – Egg-free
  • – Dairy free – if you replace the chocolate chips with raisins
  • – Full of healthy stuff
  • – Delicious
  • – No added sugar
  • – No butter
  • – No flour
  • – Incredibly practical for busy mornings
  • – And did I say, very morish?!

Can these Thermomix magic ‘balls’ be any more perfect?

I originally found this recipe on Facebook and adapted to the Thermomix.

It said: “Cookies for Breakfast? YES!!! These EASY 3-ingredient breakfast cookies taste like banana bread and oatmeal cookies in one. They are warm and gooey, and taste best if eaten right out of the oven! Try them with any combination like raisins, walnuts, etc.”

One banana adds all the moisture needed to help this recipe form into balls.

How about adding the super healthy chai seed too? A dollop of peanut butter? A bit of honey? The possibilities are endless.

So we did!

3 ingredients Oatmeal Thermomix magic ‘balls’ are truly a staple in our snack habits now!

  1. These were a complete winner! I can’t make them quick enough for my 3yr and 16 month old. Delicious little snack. I added a handful of chopped dates and some dried apricots.
